Japanese automaker Kawasaki has launched the Z650 model in India for the year 2021. It flaunts a Metallic Spark Black color theme along with a fluorescent green finish on the rims. As for the highlights, the bike gets a semi-faired look, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument display, and an all-LED lighting setup.
The 2021 Kawasaki Z650 continues to sport the Z “sugomi” styling that brings a muscular style to the motorbike. The roadster also holds on to the full-LED headlight, split-style seat, LED taillight, underbelly exhaust, and a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch color TFT display that works with RIDEOLOGY THE APP. The hardware comprises telescopic forks at the front, petal-type disc brakes on both wheels, mono-shock at the back, and dual-channel ABS. The alloy wheels are enclosed in Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
Mechanical specifications hold on to the BS6/Euro5-compliant, 649cc, inline two-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Associated with a six-speed transmission, the motor produces 67.3bhp at 8,000rpm and 64Nm at 6,700rpm.
In India, the 2021 Kawasaki Z650 comes in only the Metallic Spark Black color option and is priced at Rs. 6,04,000 (ex-showroom). At this price-rate, it goes against competitors like Triumph Street Twin, Harley Davidson Street Rod, and KTM Duke 790.
