KTM has announced the launch of a new 2021 edition of its very popular naked streetfighter KTM 125 Duke in the Indian automobile market. Carried a model name of MY21 KTM 125 Duke, the new bike is now available for purchase at KTM dealers across India and this all-new motorbike has received multiple improvements for 2021.
The first noticeable thing in this bike is its new design language which is borrowed from the company’s other flagship motorcycle, KTM 1290 Super Duke R. The styling is edged by more aggressive, sharper bodywork with a seat unit that exposes more of the sportier geometry chassis. This street fighter gets a new, bolt-on rear subframe, a larger steel tank, and steeply rising lines that catapult its street creds sky-high.
The design has also been changed, with a more commanding riding position, backed up by revised rider and passenger seats. The fuel tank has also been redone and can now hold 13.5 liters of fuel. Better design can also be seen as a result of this alteration. The 2021 KTM 125 Duke features a new WP suspension both front and back. KTM says that the upgraded suspension system will offer riders of all types and abilities, comfort for commuting, and confidence in the corners.
With a maximum output of 14.5bhp at 9,250rpm and a torque maximum of 12Nm at 8,000rpm, the 125cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine is expected to keep enthusiasts happy. In the Indian market, the 2021 edition of KTM 125 Duke has been priced at Rs. 1,50,010 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and will be available in two color options: Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.
