Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics company Acer has announced the launch of its five new laptops — the Aspire 5, Swift 3 (two variants), Swift 3X, and Swift 5 — for the Indian market. The Acer Swift 3X and the new Aspire 5 were unveiled globally just a few days back and it has now launched in the Indian market. All of these five laptops are powered by 11th generation Intel Core processors with Intel’s latest Iris Xe integrated GPUs and up to NVIDIA’s GeForce MX450 GPUs for better graphics performance.
As far as prices are concerned, the Acer Aspire 5 comes at a starting price of Rs. 54,999. The Acer Swift 3 laptop price starts from Rs. 67,999 while the Acer Swift 5 and Swift 3X starts at Rs. 79,999. On the other hand, the Acer Swift 5 comes at a starting price of Rs. 79,999.
All the laptops will be made available for purchase in India starting from the first week of November via the Acer e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and other offline multi-brand outlets. It will also be available offline at Acer exclusive stores and Reliance Digital. The Taiwanese vendor claims to be the first brand in India to launch the 11th gen Intel Core processors powered laptops on the Intel Evo platform.
Aspire 5 Specifications:
The new Aspire 5 offers a variety of colors and a slim 17.95mm body. It is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 discrete graphics and sports a Full-HD 14-inch IPS panel using technologies like Acer’s Color Intelligence and eye care feature Acer BlueLightShield.
It also features dual-band Wi-Fi 61 (802.11ax), which improves the average network throughput by up to 3 times and reduces latency by up to 75% compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). Lastly, the device has up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD and up to 2TB HDD.
Swift 3 Specifications:
The two models in the Acer Swift 3 line are powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core processors and both the laptops come with a metal chassis, which is the latest technology including Intel Iris Xe graphics, Thunderbolt 4, and Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +).
The Acer Swift 3 (SF313-53) has a vibrant 13.5-inch display along with a 3:2 aspect ratio for 18% more vertical viewing display. It can deliver up to 16 hours of battery life and can be fast-charged to provide up to 4-hours of use with just 30 minutes of battery charge.
The 2nd variant, which is the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-59) has an aluminum chassis and a magnesium-aluminum palm rest. It sports a Full HD 14-inch display and weighs only around 1.2kg, measuring just 15.95 mm thin.
Swift 5 Specifications:
The Acer Swift 5 is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core processors, weighs around 1kg, and comes with a 14-inch Full HD display. The display is surrounded by ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides, resulting in a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop has an array of ports such as USB3.2 Gen 2, USB-C, and Thunderbolt 4.
Swift 3X specifications:
The new Swift 3X is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core processor and the Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics. It offers multiple cooling modes, accessible via easy shortcut keys, a device-lifting hinge, and dual heat pipes.
It sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display and 84% screen-to-body ratio. This one also comes with an array of ports such as USB-C, HDMI 2.0, Thunderbolt 4, and USB 3.2 Gen 2. Swift 3X connects to wireless networks with the latest tech via 2×2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 AX) and Bluetooth 5.1 as well.
The laptop holds a 58.7Wh battery which is capable of making it last for up to 17.5 hours. In case of any emergency, Swift 3 X can be fast-charged also, to provide 4-hours of use-time with just 30 minutes of charging.
