Work from home is becoming a norm this year for most of the people and this has increased the demand for OTT benefits. The year 2020 has let telecom brands bring in some affordable broadband plans. Here are some plans offered by Airtel, BSNL and Jio under Rs. 1,500.
Airtel Unlimited broadband plan – Rs. 499: This plan offers unlimited internet with speed up to 40 Mbps and some other additional benefits like subscription to Airtel XStream, Wynk Music and Shaw academy.
Airtel Premium broadband plan – Rs. 799: This broadband plan offers unlimited internet with speed of up to 70 Mbps. It also provides other additional benefits like subscriptions to Airtel XStream, Wynk Music and Shaw academy. Airtel’s website shows Rs. 499 and Rs. 799 as its basic broadband plans but some users spotted that these basic plans were revised last month to Rs. 589 and Rs. 943 respectively.
Airtel Entertainment broadband plan – Rs. 999: This plan offers unlimited internet and calls with high internet speed of up to 200 Mbps. This plan includes streaming benefits of Zee5 Premium’s and Amazon Prime’s yearly subscription and access to the Airtel XStream box.
Airtel Ultra broadband plan – Rs. 1,499: This plan provides unlimited internet with up to 300 Mbps speed and unlimited local and STD calls. Also, the streaming benefits of this plan comprises a yearly subscription of Zee5 Premium and Amazon Prime along with access to the Airtel XStream box.
BSNL Bharat Fibre broadband plan – Rs. 449: BSNL rolled out its broadband plans in October and said that it will be available only for a promotional period of 90 days but the users will have to wait and see if the BSNL this plan regular. This plan is also known as the Fibre Basic plan that gives 30 Mbps speed till 3.3TB or 3300GB FUP limit. Once it reaches the FUP limit, the speed is reduced to 2Mbps. This plan will also offer unlimited voice calls to any network within India. Except for Andaman and Nicobar, BSNL has made this plan available widely across all the circles.
BSNL Fibre Basic Plus broadband plan – Rs. 599: This is another broadband plan introduced last week by the government-owned telco. As of now, this plan offers FTTH services and also offers 60Mbps speeds up to 3300GB. This plan comes with unlimited data benefits and once the user exhausts the monthly FUP limit its speed gets reduced to 2Mbps. However, there is no limit after reaching the FUP limit on how much users can download or upload at 2Mbps speeds.
BSNL Bharat Fibre broadband plan – Rs. 799: This plan provides 100 Mbps speed till 3300GB or 3.3 TB and once the FUP limit is crossed, the speed gets reduced to 2 Mbps.
BSNL Premium Fibre broadband plan – Rs. 999: This Premium broadband plan provides 200 Mbps speed under Rs. 999 till 3300GB or 3.3 TB and crossing this limit the speed is reduced to 2Mbps. This plan also comes with a free premium membership of Disney+ Hotstar.
BSNL Ultra Fibre broadband plan – Rs. 1,499: This plan offers up to 300 Mbps speed till 4TB or 4000GB is reached and after the FUP limit, the speed gets reduced to 4 Mbps. This plan also offers unlimited calling benefits to any network within the country and comes with a free premium membership of Disney+ Hotstar.
JioFiber broadband plans – Rs. 399 and Rs. 699: Both the plans offer truly unlimited internet with 30Mbps and 60Mbps speed respectively and do not come with any OTT subscriptions. They also offer unlimited calling.
Jio broadband plan – Rs. 999: This plan offers truly unlimited internet with download and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps. The plan also offers unlimited voice calling and access to 11 OTT apps which includes Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar worth Rs. 1,000.
JioFiber diamond broadband plan – Rs. 1,499: This plan comes with unlimited internet with download and upload speeds of up to 300Mbps. Apart from this, the plan provides unlimited voice calling and free subscription to 12 OTT apps with no extra cost.
