Airtel Xstream subscription service now available for non-Airtel users


Airtel is among the largest telecom operators in India which is now offering its Xstream subscription to everyone from different telecom network users in the country. Earlier, the services provided by the telecom operators were limited to the Airtel users only but now anyone in India can avail the subscription and enjoy live streaming. The Airtel Xstream service includes many plans and those who are not on the eligible plan can purchase the annual Airtel Xstream membership at Rs. 499.

Users can watch live TV, movies and original shows, among others on their smartphones with Airtel Xstream service. This service provides more than 350 live TV channels to its users and Airtel keeps expanding this channel list every now and then.

Airtel Xstream Subscription price for non-Airtel users in India

The service is available at Rs. 49 for one month or Rs. 499 for one year. Airtel users having plans which do not offer Airtel Xstream need to spend Rs. 499 to avail the service and the price remains the same for non-Airtel users as well to buy the subscription. Users will get one year Airtel Xstream subscription with Rs. 499. However, Airtel has also said that the Rs. 499 plan is an introductory price only for non-Airtel users.

Airtel Xstream Subscription benefits

With Airtel Xstream annual membership users will be able to download and watch premium content available on the Airtel Xstream app and website. The app provides more than 350 live TV channels whereas the website has just more than 100 TV channels. Also, Airtel has announced that it has included 73 new TV channels across sports, entertainment and news categories.

The live TV channels available on Airtel Xstream service are available in Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati and Urdu. Apart from the live channels it also includes more than 10,000 movies and around hundreds of TV shows. These movies and shows are from other OTT services such as Voot, ZEE5, Hungama, ShareIt, YouTube, Eros Now, ShemarooMe, Ultra and Curiosity Stream. Other features of the Airtel Xstream service includes ‘Catch Up TV’ which allow the users to watch TV shows of the past seven days and Chromecast support.
