Amazfit GTS 2e and Amazfit GTR 2e smartwatches have been launched in China and both are launched as follow up models to the Amazfit GTS 2 and the Amazfit GTR 2. The new watches mostly have the same features like their older models but with lesser price and some compromises in specifications. However, the company assures that they will deliver a longer battery life. The Amazfit GTS 2e comes with a rectangular dial whereas the Amazfit GTR 2e has a round dial. Both the smartwatches are available in three colour options and feature 2.5D curved glass.
Amazfit GTS 2e and Amazfit GTR 2e price
The Amazfit GTS 2e and the Amazfit GTR 2e will be available for CNY 799 which is Rs. 9,000 approx. The former is available in Dark Green, Obsidian Black and Roland Purple colour options whereas the latter is available in Dolphin Grey, Ice Lake Green and Obsidian Black. They can be purchased via the Amazfit China website (GTS 2e, GTR 2e). As of now, the brand has not shared any details regarding their international availability.
Amazfit GTS 2e Specifications
The Amazfit GTS 2e features a 2.5D curved glass and a 1.65-inch Super Retina display. It has the similar battery capacity like the Amazfit GTS 2 i.e. 246mAh but as promised by the company it can last for up to 14 days in daily use mode which is double to that of the Amazfit GTS 2 and in basic mode it can last for up to 24 days. Its dimensions are 42.8×35.6×9.85mm and weight is 25 grams. The on board sensors of the watch include a biological data sensor, geomagnetic sensor, acceleration sensor, blood oxygen sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, temperature sensor and a linear motor.
On the connectivity front, it includes NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. Also, there is no Wi-Fi connectivity available with the Amazfit GTS 2e which differs it from the Amazfit GTS 2. The Amazfit GTS 2e also features 90 sports modes which consists of swimming, jogging, cycling, running, treadmill and more and it is also waterproof up to 50 metres.
Amazfit GTR 2e specifications
The Amazfit GTR 2e features a AMOLED display with 326ppi pixel density and has two buttons on the right side. It has an aluminium alloy body which weighs 32 grams. It’s 471mAh battery capacity claims to last for up to 24 days in daily use mode and up to 45 days in basic watch mode. This has remarkably more battery life as compared to the Amazfit GTR 2. It also consists of a Huami proprietary BioTracker PPG biological data sensor which supports blood oxygen measurements, gyroscope, acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor and temperature sensor.
On the Connectivity front, it includes NFC and Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi is missing from the Amazfit GTR 2e unlike the older Amazfit GTR 2. There is a tracking for 90 sports modes which includes running, cycling, treadmill, jogging, swimming and more. It is also waterproof up to 50 metres and has blood oxygen monitoring and sleep monitoring features as well.
