To increase control in Hindi, users can switch to Hindi via their Alexa voice remote by navigating to the Fire TV language settings by clicking Settings> Device Options> Device Language. For the first time Fire TV users can select Hindi when setting their device out of the box.
This new update will allow users to freely interact with Alexa in Hindi. Users can place a command in Hindi for music, knowledge, personality, smart home, timer and alarm, weather, news, local search, and more.
Another feature that Amazon has added to Fire TV is the Alexa routine. Alexa routines, as the name suggests, will make it easier for users to bundle their smart home features with Alexa. Users can set up routine using the Alexa app. For example, if users enter while sleeping and order Alexa saying “Alexa, time for bed,” the smart assistant will turn off all lights.
