Cupertino-based tech firm Apple is now reportedly preparing itself to introduce the next-generation iPhones next year in September month and there won’t be any delays in the launch programme that happened this year late due to the COVID-19 situation, in which the Apple iPhone 12 series of smartphones were launched almost a month late. The latest leak from ETNews, a Korean Publication, suggests that out of the four upcoming Apple iPhone 13 (speculative name) smartphones, two of the top models will sport a 120Hz OLED display panel.
The four models in this series will include iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. As per the publication, the iPhone 13 will come with a 6.1-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display, the iPhone 13 mini will sport a 5.4-inch 60Hz LTPS OLED display, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will sport a 6.1-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED, and 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED displays respectively.
Besides, earlier this month, another report from TheElec suggests that the OLED panels will have an Always-On feature too. Another leak from Creativebloq, suggests that the notch size on the iPhone 13 Series devices will be decreased as the size of the chip used for the front-facing camera will also be decreased.
Based on these leaks, it will be very early to make any definite comment on any upcoming model as major changes could take place throughout 2021 till we reach September. So we shall wait for the official announcement from the manufacturer.
