Apple launches new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini: Here are the India prices

Apple launched a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini last evening and all new devices come supercharged with Apple’s new M1 chip. You can order them in advance at the Apple Store and this is how much you are going to pay.

Apple has finally unveiled its first chipset for Mac computers as the M1. The company has introduced three new products that feature the latest chipset. These include the Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac Mini. All the latest Macs offer up to 3.5x faster CPU, up to 6x faster GPU, 15x faster machine learning (ML) capabilities and 2x battery life. The new MacBook Pro comes with top-of-the-line features, while the MacBook Air offers improved performance over its predecessors. The Mac mini features an advanced thermal design, which helps in better heat dissipation. Here’s what you need to know about the new line-up of Macs.

MacBook Air 13-inch with M1 Chip

The MacBook Air price India price is Rs. 92,900 for 256GB option, while the 512GB model is priced at Rs. 1,17,900. These are available for order from Apple’s online store. They will soon be made available in the country.

In addition to the SSD storage space, all other features on the two variants are the same and include – True Tone, Magic Keyboard, Touch ID, Force Touch Trackpad and Retina Display with two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports.

MacBook Airs come in three colours – Space Grey, Gold and Silver.

MacBook Pro 13-inch with M1 Chip

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is the only one that currently comes with Apple’s M1 chip. The 16-inch variant is also available at the Apple Store, but keeping in mind you, it is outdated with the Intel chip.

The new MacBook Pro comes with an Apple M1 chip with 8 more core CPUs and 8 more core GPUs and two storage variants – 256GB and 512GB and the 13-inch MacBook Pro in India costs Rs. 1,22,900 for the 256GB model and the 512GB SSD option costs Rs. 1,42,900.

In addition, they both come with a 13-inch Retina display with True Tone, Magic Keyboard, Touch Bar and Touch ID, Force Touch trackpad and two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports. Apple has relaunched the Touch Bar for MacBook Pro models this time and also MacBook Pro is available in Space Grey and Silver colours.

Mac Mini

Apple’s new Mac Mini 8 comes with 1 core CPU, 8 mini core GPU and Apple M1 chip with 256GB or 512GB storage and the Apple Mac Mini costs Rs. 64,900 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB option costs Rs. 84,900.

Apple says that code in Xcode can be compiled up to 3x faster with the new Mac Mini. One can also play graphics-intensive games, such as Shape of Tomb Raider with a 4x higher frame rate. Anyone can provide a complex timeline of up to 6x Final Cut Pro and use ML frameworks like Tensor Flow or Create ML. The Mac Mini also features an advanced thermal design to maintain its breakthrough performance while remaining completely quiet and quiet, supporting up to two displays, including Apple’s Pro Display XDR in full 6K resolution.
