Spotify can now be streamed directly on Apple Watch, the corporate confirmed in a press release. Users will have the ability to stream music or podcasts on the Apple Watch, with the ability to connect with the iPhone. Spotify began testing the feature for a restricted group in September and is now extending the direct streaming option to all subscribers. The feature is reportedly available at the server-side location. Even then it seems to be a mass beta rollout, so it may not be attainable for all Apple Watch customers but.

German site Macerkopf reported that many users were watching feature shows on their Apple Watch. The image shared by the publication shows the following message on Apple Watch: Would you like to stream Spotify to your Apple Watch? Choose it here

The music streaming service confirmed to Engadget that it had started rolling out streaming capabilities for Spotify on the Apple Watch. Users can stream music and podcasts on Spotify with the use of their iPhones due to the brand new feature. However, despite offline listening, there appears to be no option on the Apple Watch.

Reportedly, Spotify’s streaming choice for Apple Watch went to a large group of individuals over the weekend. Users can enter their music library via Wi-Fi or mobile community with the Spotify app on the Apple Watch and listen via Bluetooth headphones or audio systems. IPhones will not need to be linked while listening to Spotify on the Apple Watch. Therefore, customers do not have to keep the telephone with them for a run or walk, and can only depend on the Apple Watch.

The report notes that there is no search performance within the Spotify app on the Apple Watch. Users must rely on Siri to work.
