Taiwanese PC and Tablet company Asus announced its first ever smartphone with the latest 18:9 display known as Zenfone Max Plus (M1) in November last year, but it didn’t reveal the price of the smartphone. Now, the company has revealed the price of their latest smartphone.
Asus latest smartphone has recently launched in the US with a price tag of $229 which is approx.14,534 rupees with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone will be available on sale in February in two sizzling colour options i.e Azure Silver and Deep sea Black. Asus has also showcased the device in the ongoing CES 2018.
It comes with various attractive features. The Zenfone Max Plus (M1) have a 5.7-inch full-screen display with screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels along with a 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone has a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor along with Mali T860 GPU, which is a pretty old processor. The phone is available in two storage options – 2GB RAM plus 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM plus 32GB internal storage.
The device comes with the dual-camera setup at the back having combination of 16 megapixel rear camera with aperture f/1.7 and an 8megapixel 120-degree wide angle lens, just like the original Asus Zenfone Max whereas, it has 8 megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0, 85-degree wide-angle lens in front.
The main unique selling point (USP) of the smartphone is its 4130mAh battery along with 10W charger support. The company claims that it can charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in just 3 hours. It has Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 4.0 version. The other connectivity features which you can enjoy are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port and Dual-Sim. It measures 152.6 x 73 x 8.8 mm with a very light weight of 160gms.
