After launching the boAt Storm smartwatch in October this year, the company is now gearing up to roll out its next smartwatch ‘boAt Watch Enigma’ in the Indian market on December 9. The company says that the watch will be thin yet mighty. Just like the boAt Storm, the Engima will also feature a heart rate sensor and will come with Blood Oxygen / SpO2 monitoring. The boAt Watch Enigma will carry a price tag of Rs. 2,999 and will be sold via e-commerce website Amazon.in.
The smartwatch will sport a 1.54-inch full touch screen color display with an always-on feature that lets the watch stay awake all the time, but it will drain the battery quickly. It shows notifications for text messages, calls, social media apps, alarms, and more.
The watch features smart gesture control that lets you use gestures to control the watch including raising your hand to wake the watch, shaking the wrist to change watch faces, and shaking your wrist to click pictures.. You can long-press the home screen to enhance the brightness.
The device shows a 15-day weather forecast once you connect it to a smartphone over Bluetooth. Other features include guided meditative breathing, the option to track multiple activities such as running, walking, climbing, riding, Basketball, Football, Badminton, and Table-Tennis, and Music control. The smartwatch features 3 ATM (30-meter) water resistance and Eco mode to increase battery efficiency.
