Most of us are bound to work from home these days because of the ongoing pandemic. All the telecom operators have launched a number of plans which are already available for their users. Besides this data consumption has been gradually increased since many employees are working from home.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a work from home plan, Rs. 251 prepaid plan and additionally, the company is also offering plans @ Rs. 56 and Rs. 151. With Rs. 56 plan, users will get 10GB of data valid for ten days whereas the Rs. 151 plan offers 40GB data and Rs. 251 special tariff plan gives 70GB of data with 28 days validity. This new work from home plan has come after the launch of ZING Music application by the operator.

Reliance Jio’s work from home plans are available at Rs. 151, Rs. 201 and Rs. 251 with 30GB, 40GB, and 50GB data benefits respectively. Both Airtel and Vi are also having plans for worth Rs. 251 which provides 50GB data. Apart from this, Vi is offering Rs. 351 plan wherein users get 100GB data. If we compare these private telecoms with BSNL, the plan of Rs. 251 by BSNL is giving 70GB of data whereas private telecoms are offering 50GB of data with the same amount. In Kerala, the operator is providing 4G data plan at Rs. 251.
BSNL gets license in 22 telecom circles
Moreover, BSNL has got the license to operate in all 22 circles which was only 20 earlier. An agreement has been signed between the Department of Telecommunication and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. The operator is giving its 2G services in 20 circles apart from Delhi and Mumbai. Now BSNL has got the license for 22 circles including Delhi and Mumbai and after this BSNL is allowed to provide telephone, internet and more services in these two circles too.
