Soon after launching in the US, the smart wearables manufacturer Garmin has launched its latest Forerunner 745 smartwatch in the Indian tech market that the organization claims the smartwatch is specially built for runners and athletes searching for detailed training data information, on-device workout smartwatch highlights, and much more.
As indicated by the company, Forerunner 745 supports basic performance monitoring tools like VO2 max, training load/status, and aerobic and anaerobic effects of training. Moreover, users will also get on-device running and cycling everyday exercise recommendations dependent on their present load of training and VO2 max.
The new Garmin Forerunner 745 has a 1.2-inch (240×240 pixels) transflective display with Corning Gorilla Glass DX protection. The wearable can last up seven days in smartwatch mode, as long as six hours in GPS mode with music, as long as 16 hours with GPS mode without music, and as long as 21 hours in UltraTrac mode. It also has 5ATM or 50 meters water-resistance, which means it can also be used while swimming.
On the connectivity side, Forerunner 745 packs with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ANT+, and the wearable pairs with phones using the iConnect IQ application. The Garmin Forerunner 745 offers smart alerts, text response/reject the call with text, calendar, climate, phone music controls, music storage capacity to store up to 500 songs, ‘discover my phone’ and ‘discover my watch’ feature, VIRB Remote, and the pairing ability to pair with Garmin Connect Mobile. Regarding dimensions, the Garmin Forerunner 745 measures 43.8×43.8×13.3mm and weighs 47 grams.
The Garmin Forerunner 745 additionally includes advanced dynamics to help with cycling and swim training. While on a bicycle, it will track the information, for example, left/right balance, seating time and standing, platform center offset, and power phase.
