Gionee M12 has been rolled out as the latest smartphone offering by the company. The smartphone, currently available only in Nigeria, houses a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It has a big 5,100mAh battery and offers up to 128GB of phone storage. The smartphone comes in two processor variants — MediaTek Helio A25 and MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. Gionee M12 sports a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a hole-punch cut out on the top left corner of the display. A fingerprint sensor is also offered at the back panel of the phone.

Gionee M12 runs on Android 10 and features a 6.55-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. As we mentioned above, it comes in two processor variants — MediaTek Helio A25 and MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. The phone is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and offers up to 128GB of phone storage options. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage further using a microSD card slot (up to 256GB) as well.
Gionee M12 has quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel GM1 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and two additional 2-megapixel each assist cameras. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It is powered by a 5,100mAh battery and has a rear fingerprint sensor & supports face unlock as well.

Gionee M12 price starts at NGN 78,900 (approx. Rs. 15,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and Helio A25 variant. The Helio P22 model with 4GB RAM + 64GB option is priced at NGN 75,000 (approx. Rs. 14,500). There is also a top-end variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage that costs NGN 85,000 (approx. Rs. 16,500). The Gionee M12 will be made available for purchase in Nigeria via online at Jumia and offline at a number of stores in Magic Green color and Dazzling Black body shade options.
