Honor Band 6 gets BIS certification; India launch is on way

The Honor Band 6 has emerged on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification website i.e. BIS. It also hinted that its launch in India is on the way. A tipster Mukul Sharma has shared a screenshot @stufflistings in which the band is listed with model number ARG-B19 on the BIS certification website.

The Honor Band 6 was already launched in China earlier this month and it looks more like a smartwatch rather than a fitness band. The standard edition of the fitness tracker is available at CNY249 which is approx. Rs. 2,800 while the NFC variant is available at CNY289 which is approx. Rs. 3,250. It is available in three attractive colour options – Meteorite Black, Coral Pink and Grey.

Honor Band 6 Specifications and Features:

The Honor Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED touch display and has more than 100 watch faces to opt from. It has a resolution of 198×368 pixels. The band has a side function button and is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

The fitness tracker consists of the Huawei TruSeen 4.0 technology in order to monitor continuous heart-rate, SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen saturation levels, Huawei TruSleep technology to evaluate sleep quality and also offers over 200 customized assessment suggestions to improve it and has a Female Cycle Tracker.

The Honor Band 6 bears 10 professional sports modes which includes Outdoor Running, Outdoor Walking, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Running, Indoor Walking, Indoor Cycling, Swimming, Free Training, Rowing Machine and Elliptical Trainer.

It comes equipped with an 180mAh battery which can last up to 14 days with normal usage and up to 10 days with heavy usage. It has a fast magnetic charging feature that takes about 65 minutes for full charge. It also supports other smart functions like message reminders, Remote camera and music control, Phone Finder, weather updates, idle alerts and many more.
