Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced the launch of Honor Band A2, a new fitness band in India. The fitness band is priced at Rs 2,499 and it will be available only on Amazon with a start date, January 08, 2018.

The Honor Band A2 has a 0.96-inch multi-touch OLED display. The fitness band has a sensitive and low-power heart rate chip to calculate heart rate data. One can monitor his/her heart rate corresponding to the exercise being done by him/her in real-time and adjusts the state of exercise to improve efficiency. The band can record multiple parameters like the time, heart rate, and distance data of a single exercise, and then displays the all-day exercise data, such as step count and calories on the phone that is connected to the band.

The band will also diagnose the sleep problems, and suggest a solution to it, as per the company’s claim. It uses a sleep algorithm and has a heart rate module, which can differentiate between light sleep, deep sleep, and awake states. The device comes with multiple workout modes, exercise trajectory, sleep monitoring, smart alarms, message display, and incoming call notification mode. It is water and sweat resistant and offers up to 9 days of battery life and up to 18 days of standby time.
