Honor is expected to launch a variety of products this month including laptops, smartwatches, TVs and toothbrushes as suggested by a report. As per a leak, the upcoming Honor Mall will reveal more information apart from the Honor V40. The source code available at the homepage of Honor Mall reportedly contained codenames of five new products. Honor had recently announced that it would be launching its independent online shop known as Honor Mall on January 12. The company released a teaser via a Weibo post regarding the upcoming new products which will be launched along with a poster indicating the laptops, TVs and more. It seems that Honor is also going to start building an ecosystem of IoT products to be used alongside its phones like other Chinese smartphone brands.
As per the report by a Chinese publication, the home page of the upcoming Honor Mall website disclosed some code names in its source code which are as follows: York, Nobel D, Bohr, Locke, Kanon. Currently, the webpage is down.
Reportedly, York is the codename given to the upcoming Honor V40 smartphone which is expected to feature a quad rear camera setup, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC and a 4,000mAh battery. It might have a 6.72-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Earlier the smartphone was expected to launch at the end of 2020.
Honor Glory Mall shared a poster on Weibo which indicates the variety of new products which will be launched by the company. It displayed a laptop, smartwatch, TV, toothbrush and more. This hinted that these new products might launch alongside ‘York’ when Honor Mall launches. The poster also revealed that the online store will be launched on January 12 in China.
Honor got separated from Huawei recently. Honor, with extending its range of products and heading into IoT will be joining the likes of Realme and Xiaomi, who have a range of products apart from smartphones including power banks, earphones, toothbrushes, smartwatches, smartplugs and more.
