Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+ with Kirin 9000 processors launched

The Chinese Multinational Technology Company Huawei has globally launched its latest series of Huawei Mate 40 smartphones finally. The series made a huge buzz previously and now since it’s out, we can’t wait to have a look at it.

The Huawei Mate 40 series comprises Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ and all the three variants have been launched. The premium Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ models are powered by the new Kirin 9000 chipset that comes with 5G network support. To add to these variants, Huawei also released Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS. As already known, the new series does not come with Google Play Store and users will have to use Huawei’s AppGallery.

Pricing and Availability:

The different variants of the Huawei Mate 40 series are priced accordingly as per their features and specifications. The price of Huawei Mate 40 is held at approx. ₹ 78,000 while Mate 40 Pro will be priced at ₹ 1,04,000 approx. and Mate 40 Pro+ will be available at roughly ₹ 1,21,500. The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS is available at ₹ 1,99,500 approx.

As per the international availability is concerned, only Huawei Mate 40 Pro is known which will go on sale on 13 November in the UK. The availability of the other two smartphones is not yet disclosed.


Huawei Mate 40 

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Kirin 9000E processor which supports a 5G network. It offers 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50 MP primary sensor, a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8 MP telephoto lens that supports 3X optical zoom. The front camera comes with 13 mp. The phone is equipped with a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+

Both the smartphones come with a 6.76-inch 2K curved OLED display, resolution of  2772×1344 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. Both models are powered by Kirin 9000 5G chipset which supports 5G. While Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage, Mate 40 Pro+ offers 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

For photography, Mate 40 Pro offers a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary sensor, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12 MP periscope lens and a 3D depth sensor. On the other hand, Mate 40 Pro+ also comes with a quad-camera setup that offers a huge 50 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP telephoto lens, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens. For the battery, both the smartphones come with a 4,400 mAh battery, wireless charging and 66W fast wired charging.
