Infinix Zero 8 debuted back in August in Indonesia. The smartphone was launched last month alongside Zero 8i in Pakistan. As of now, these smartphones have not been launched in India yet but they might launch soon. Infinix India has launched a teaser for their new product via its social media channels and the teaser shows a diamond-shaped design which hints at the Infinix Zero 8 series launch in India. Infinix Zero 8 series devices feature a diamond-shaped rear camera module and are powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. These smartphones pack quad-rear camera setups, a 4500mAh battery capacity and more.

Infinix Zero 8 series phones come only in one storage variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB. The new device is available at PKR 39999 which is approx. Rs. 18,860 while the Zero 8i costs at PKR 34999 which is Rs. 16,500 approx. in Pakistan. We can assume Zero 8 and Zero 8i to be priced at approx. Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 16,000 respectively in the country.
The new device has a 6.85 inch FHD+ panel which comes with a 90HZ refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T processor which is known for its gaming performance. The same processor is already seen on popular devices like Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 6. The MediaTek Helio G90T is built on the 12nm FinFET process and comes combined with ARM Mali-G76 GPU. It runs on Android 10 based XOS 7 and provides multidimensional liquid cool technology. Also, it is backed with 8GB RAM and 128GB on board storage which is further expandable with the help of a dedicated Micro-SD card slot.
The Zero 8 comprises a 64megapixel quad-rear camera set up while the Zero 8i has a 48megapixel quad-rear camera set up inside a diamond-shaped module which is similar to what we have seen on Vivo S1 Pro. The primary sensor on the Zero 8 is a 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens which can double as a macro camera as well. These sensors are accompanied by dedicated sensors for Bokeh and Ultra Night Videos modes. Infinix Zero 8 is also capable of recording 4K videos as well as 960fps slow-motion videos.
The Zero 8 packs a dual front camera setup including a 48 megapixel primary sensor for selfies. The 48 megapixel sensor has the ability of recording 4K video and gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. While the Zero 8i comes with a 16 megapixel selfie shooter which gets coupled with an 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Infinix Zero 8 comprises a 4500mAh battery capacity with 33W charging support and has a Type-C port. There is a fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the power button and the device supports face unlock too.
