iQoo 7 has been officially confirmed by the company as its new flagship smartphone. The launch date is not announced yet, but a teaser poster has been shared by the company, revealing the device’s design details. In the teaser, iQoo 7 is seen housing a triple camera setup on the back with a distinctive finish. The smartphone’s design in the poster looks to be a BMW special edition. iQoo also says that iQoo 7 is the official gaming machine for the KPL Games (King Pro League) eSports event in China.
The company via a Weibo Post confirmed the arrival of iQoo 7 in China. The post says that this smartphone will be the official KPL 2020 gaming machine. The KPL eSports event is held in the autumn and spring seasons every year in the region. The poster hints that the iQoo 7 will sport a triple camera setup on the back with three sensors positioned in a triangular formation inside a squarish module. The iQoo logo is located right below the camera module along with the flash and the three-colored striped finish at the back that signals a BMW Special Edition.
iQoo 7 could feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and is expected to come in other finishes as well. iQoo 7 series will be replacing the iQoo 5 series that was rolled out in August this year. The iQoo 5 series was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, the new iQoo 7 handset may get its fuel from the newly-launched Snapdragon 888 SoC. iQoo has released only a few details about iQoo 7 by the time and shall announce more details soon.
