LG joins the cheap 5G phone race with the new K92

5G has more-or-less gone popular in 2020, and smartphone makers are now heading towards making their next-generation networks cheaper to access. LG has just announced its new K92 smartphone, which supports US Cellular for just under $400 and 5G support for AT&T.

LG K92 5G price:

The new LG K92 5G comes with a price tag of $359 (approximately INR 26,600) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone sports Titan Gray reflective accents and will be available from AT&T, Cricket Wireless, and US Cellular carriers. AT&T will begin selling it from November 6 whereas US Cellular will do the same from November 19.

LG K92 5G specifications:

The LG K92 5G runs on Android 10, sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ hole-punch display, and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card.

Talking about the cameras, the LG K92 5G features a square-shaped quad-camera setup at the back. It includes a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.78 aperture and an 81-degree field of view. There is another 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and 115-degree field of view. Further, it includes a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and another 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, the LG K92 5G has a 16-megapixel camera with a 77-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture.

The LG K92 5G is packed with a 4,000mAh battery and on the connectivity front, it has a Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The phone has stereo speakers, supports LG 3D Sound Engine, and offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
