LG K42 and LG K52, two budget-friendly handsets by LG have been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website and they bear the model numbers LM-K420YMW and LM-K520YMW respectively. This listing hints that both the phones from LG might launch soon in India. The South Korean tech giant, LG has already launched these phones for other countries, the LG K42 has launched in Central America and the Caribbean region whereas the LG K52 has launched in Europe. The development was shared via Twitter by a renowned tipster Mukul Sharma.
Mukul Sharma has recently shared the two LG phones having model numbers LM- K420YMW and LM-K520YMW via his Twitter account. The phone bearing model number LM- K420YMW is said to be the LG K42 whereas the phone with model number LM-K520YMW is said to be the LG K52. Since both the phones are launched in other regions hence most of the specifications are known.
LG K42 Specifications:
The LG K42 comes decorated with a 6.6-inch HD+ display along with a central hole-punch cut out for the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and runs Android 10 based LG UX OS. The handset comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
The LG K42 has a quad rear camera setup for photography and videography which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel super-wide snapper, a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
LG K42 comes with a 3D Sound Engine. Also, as claimed by the company it has analysed 17 million audio samples in order to deliver an optimal sound. On the connectivity front, it includes a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5.0 and USB Type-C port for charging. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery capacity and has MIL-STD-810G certification for durability.
LG K52 Specifications:
The LG K52 has a 6.6-inch HD+ FullVision display and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 SoC. The smartphone bears a quad rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 2-megapixel sensor with a macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone also comes with a 13-megapixel camera sensor at the front for taking selfies.
The LG K52 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. On the connectivity front, it includes Bluetooth v5.0, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. Its dimensions measure 165.0×76.7×8.4mm and weigh 186 grams.
