Xiaomi has been officially revealing various features of the new Mi 11 via a bunch of teasers on Weibo. Finally, today, the brand has confirmed yet another feature, and this time, it relates to the durability of the screen display. Xiaomi, via a Weibo post, has confirmed that Mi 11 will sport the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. To recall, this came as an improvement of the Gorilla Glass 6 back in July. According to Xiaomi, Victus has 2x improved scratch resistance than the antecedent.
Xiaomi further says that the new-gen glass has 1.5x superior drop resistance. Its scratch resistance is up to 4 times finer than the other aluminosilicate glasses available in the market.
The company has even shared a video on Weibo which shows that Gorilla Glass Victus can stand up to pressure from a weight of 100kg. The Xiaomi Mi 11 flagship smartphone is also teased to feature advanced display technology.
