After launching its latest mid-range smartphone in Brazil in September, it now seems like that Lenovo-owned Motorola may soon launch its latest Moto G9 Plus in the Indian market. Though the company has not made any official announcement for the same, the phone has reportedly been spotted on Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website with the model numbers XT2083-7 and XT2087-3. The fresh BIS listing indicates that the India launch of the smartphone is just around the corner.
According to a report by MySmartPrice, a Motorola smartphone with model numbers XT2083-7 and XT2087-3 has recently been certified. Although the certification does not reveal the exact name of the smartphone, it seems like that the XT-2087 model number stands for Moto G9 Plus. If you don’t remember, the Moto G9 Plus was launched in Brazil with a price tag of BRL 2,249.10 (approx. Rs. 31,000) for the single 4GB and 128GB internal storage variant. The device was launched in the Brazilian market in Blue Indigo and Rose Gold body shade options.
Moto G9 Plus Specifications:
The Moto G9 Plus has a 6.8-inch full-HD + display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio and also it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G mobile platform with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via microSD.
In terms of camera, the Moto G9 Plus has a rectangular quad-camera setup with 64-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.7 aperture, wide-angle camera f / 2.2 lens with 8-megapixel sensor and 2-megapixel Belongs to Sensors for depth effects and macro shots. On the front, the Moto G9 Plus has a 16-megapixel sensor housed in a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen.
The smartphone runs out of box on Android 10 OS and it packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual SIM support (Nano-SIM) and the phone measures 170 x 78.1 x 9.7 mm and weighs 223 grams.
