Earlier we have reported that Motorola is working on a new flagship smartphone dubbed as the ‘Motorola Nio.’ Apart from this, the company is also working on 2 more budget phones christened as the Motorola Capri and Motorola Capri Plus, and these smartphones will reportedly be the upcoming budget-friendly offerings from the Lenovo-owned company. Both the devices are expected to launch in the market in the first quarter of next year.
As per a recent report by TechnikNews, the Motorola Capri phone will be carried XT2127 model number. It will feature a HD plus display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 60Hz refresh rate.
For photography, the Motorola Capri will house a quad rear camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel Samsung S5KGM1ST lens, 2-megapixel Omnivision OV02B1B depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens, and an 8-megapixel Samsung SK54H7 ultrawide lens. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel Samsung S5K4H7 selfie camera.The phone comes powered by Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.
On the other hand, Motorola Capri Plus carries the model number XT2129. The plus variant features HD plus display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone houses a quad rear setup with a combination of a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary camera, a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B1B depth assist lens, a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3I6 superwide lens and a 2-megapixel GC02M1 macro lens.
At the front, there is Samsung S5K4H7 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It is likely to be offered in two versions- 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage and 6GB RAM plus 128GB.
Both the upcoming smartphones are said to run on Android 11 OS and will support NFC and dual SIM connectivity.
