Motorola Nio with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 8GB RAM, and Android 11 spotted on Geekbench


It is believed that Motorola will unveil a new high-end smartphone codenamed Nio. The device’s primary specifications have come out online only in the last month. Also, we saw the leaked image of the phone as light shedding on the front design. Now, the upcoming Motorola smartphone with some notable specifications including Snapdragon 865 SoC and Android 11 OS has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking database. 

Motorola Nio Geek bench Listing According to the Geek bench listing, the Motorola Nio is listed with the model number XT2125. This smartphone is believed to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC and has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 11 out-of-the-box. These aspects are not listed by the benchmarking database but are consistent with previously leaked specs. The Geek bench listing also shows that the Motorola Nio has managed to achieve 958 points in single-core and 2,969 points in multi-core tests. 

Apart from this, the listing did not reveal anything about the specifications of the phone. Given the processor is capable of running up to 3.9GHz frequency, we can safely say that it is the Snapdragon 865 Plus and Geek bench scores are suggesting the same. The listing also suggests that the Motorola Nio will be supported by an 8GB of RAM.

Motorola Nio Rumoured Specifications:

We can expect another high-end variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space. In addition, an image leaked by well-known tipster Evan Blass clearly shows the front of the Sharp Motorola Nio. With this, the smartphone will come with a punch-hole cut out with a selfie camera sensor and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space. According to recent reports, the Motorola Nio is packed full HD + resolution display with a minimum refresh rate of 90Hz. 

When it comes to other rumored specifications, the Motorola Nio is believed to flaunt the FHD + display with a 105Hz refresh rate and receive power from a 5000mAh battery. Imaging aspects of the device include a triple camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary OmniVision OV64B sensor with a wide-angle lens, a 16MP OmniVision OV16A10 secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B tertiary sensor. It is believed to flaunt a dual-camera setup with a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q main wide-angle lens and an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultra-wide-angle lens.

By now we know a lot about this smartphone and can expect some more information about the Motorola Nio as we are close to launch. Also note that the company is not disclosing anything yet and this information is based on leaks and rumors. So we recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official announcement. However, considering the specifications and features of the smartphone, its price is around Rs. 50,000.
