MWC 2018: Lenovo announces Yoga 730 and Yoga 530 with 8th gen Intel Core processors

Lenovo has declared the launch of new Yoga 730 and Yoga 530 2-in-1 laptops at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The Yoga 730 has two variants – a 13-inch model and its price starts at EUR 999, while the 15-inch model price starts from EUR 1,0999. The Yoga 530 is priced at a starting price of EUR 549.

The Yoga 730 will be available in the market from April, while the Yoga 530 will be there in June.

Lenovo Yoga 730

Lenovo Yoga 730, the 2-in-1 laptop comes with a premium aluminum finish. Both the 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch variants come with 4K IPS display with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and both the models come with a touchscreen display.

Both the models are powered with the 8th generation of Intel Core i7 processor along with Intel Integrated graphics card. The 15-inch model also has an option of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. The 13-inch model is backed by a 4GB/8GB/16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. The 15-inch model is backed by an 8 GB DDR4 / 8 GB DDR4 + 8 GB DIMM along with up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage.

The laptop comes with Lenovo Active Pen 2 with 4,096 levels of sensitivity to write, draw or annotate with Windows Ink for a pen-on-paper experience and runs on Windows 10 Home. Intriguingly, the Lenovo Yoga 730 is equipped with both Alexa and Cortana digital assistants. The 13-inch model has a powerful battery backup of up to 11.5 hours, while the 15-inch model comes with upto 9 hours battery backup. On the connectivity front, Lenovo Yoga 730 13 supports 2 x Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, 1 x USB 3.0 and audio jack. The 15-inch model boasts one Thunderbolt 3 USB-C, 2 USB 3.0, 1 full-size HDMI, 1 DC-in and audio jack.

Lenovo Yoga 530 

The Lenovo Yoga 530 has a 14-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor along with Intel Integrated graphics card. It also has an option of NVIDIA GeForce MX130 graphics card.

The laptop is backed by a 4GB/8GB/16GB of DDR4 RAM and upto 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. Yoga 530 supports Lenovo Active Pen 2 as well. The laptop comes with upto 10 hours of battery backup. It runs on Windows 10 Home and on the connectivity front, it supports 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type-C 3.0,HDMI,4-in-1 Card Reader, and Audio Jack.
