HMD Global has launched an Android 8.0 Oreo beta update for its Nokia 6 smartphone in India. The company said that it will soon roll out the stable version of the latest update as well.
The company’s chief product officer, Juho Sarvikas, announced this news on his official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, “We are starting today Oreo Beta Labs roll out for #Nokia6 in India. I understand that some of you may have been waiting for this. Beta Labs is a test platform. Please jump in and give us your feedback!!!” Also, the brand has already started rolling out Android Oreo beta update in other countries as well.
The latest beta update carries the version number 5.140 and is about 1.8GB. It is essential to note that it is just a beta update and it can be unstable in nature. The latest update also has the December 2017 security patch as well.
The update is available on Nokia’s beta labs website for its users. Nokia 6 users have to sign up on the website using the IMEI number to get the update.
