Nokia 9.3 PureView gets BIS certification, may launch in first half of 2021

Nokia 9.3 PureView is declared as the corporate’s subsequent flagship. The smartphone has been reportedly delayed to the primary half of the subsequent 12 months. Now, the smartphone has been reportedly spotted on a Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) listing, suggesting an imminent launch in the Indian market. Earlier, it was also reported that the smartphone will be launched in November.

There are some reports circulating in social media that suggest Nokia could now offer the Nokia 9.3 PureView with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset, as it took too much time to make an official announcement. According to a submission on a Russian Nokia community, the Nokia PureView has been delayed to the primary half of the subsequent 12 months. However, a very recent tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma, who is better known with the identity @stufflistings on Twitter says that the Nokia 9.3 PureView has received BIS certification. The tipster says that the Nokia 9.3 PureView has been listed as model number TA-1288 on the BIS website. The listing doesn’t reveal any other details apart from the model number.

The Nokia 9.3 PureView could provide a 120Hz refresh rate display and for photography, it is expected to come with a 108-megapixel main camera with 8K video recording support. It is to be noted that the Nokia 9.3 PureView is a unique phone if compared to the Nokia 10 PureView, which was recently reported to come back with an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC and can include a chrome steel body and sapphire glass back panel. If the Nokia 9.3 is going to be HMD Global’s 2020 flagship, the Nokia 10 PureView would be the company’s 2021 flagship.
