After a series of many teasers, domestic e-commerce platform Flipkart has finally launched the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop in the Indian tech market. This is the first Nokia branded laptop that has been launched in India with plenty of superior features. Nokia’s PureBook X14 laptop has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, both available to increase the audio and video quality on the laptop. Moreover, the Nokia laptop weighs just 1.1 kilograms, so this could be one of the most lightweight laptops available in Indian market for a purchase.

Nokia laptops are not linked with HMD Global, Flipkart is selling them solely. Similar to how Nokia smart televisions are sold and serviced, Flipkart will sell and also manage the after-sales services for the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop in India. The Nokia laptop also features the latest 10th-generation Intel Core i5 which pits it against the Mi Notebook 14. Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook 14 was rolled out a few months back as one of the most economical Windows 10 laptops with decent specifications. It was rolled out for a little over Rs. 40,000 in India but Nokia’s PureBook X14 goes big in the price ladder, where the rise could be accounted for by advanced features.

Nokia PureBook X14 Specifications:

The Nokia PureBook X14 comes across as a medium-range laptop that although exceeds the expected price of around Rs. 40,000 – Rs. 45,000 where the Mi Notebook 14 range sells. But that cavity in price explains some features that the Nokia device brings over the Mi Notebook 14.

Nokia PureBook X14 sports a 14-inch 1080p LED-backlit screen with thin bezels around. It supports Dolby Vision, which means that watching Netflix shows on this screen is going to be a thrill. Besides, Dolby Vision-supported games will also run great. There is 86 % screen-to-body ratio, along with 250 nits of brightness. The laptop weighs just 1.1 kilograms. There is one USB-C port, one USB 2.0 port, and two USB 3.1 ports, along with an HDMI port, an Ethernet (RJ45) port, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the laptop. On the Connectivity front it also includes Bluetooth v5.1 and Wi-Fi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

Nokia PureBook X14 is powered by a quad-core 10th-generation Intel Core i5 processor with a base frequency of 1.6GHz but can function at as high as 4.2GHz Turbo Frequency. It is coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. The Laptop comes with Intel UHD 620 Graphics with 1.1GHz Turbo GPU, allowing support for 4K resolution videos in HDR. There are also Intel InTru 3D, Intel Quick Sync Video, and Intel Clear Video HD technologies on the laptop. The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home Plus and also supports Windows Hello-powered facial scanning through the HD webcam. It features a backlit keyboard with a key travel of 1.4mm. Nokia has shared that it has equipped an accuracy touchpad on the laptop that supports multiple gesture inputs.

Nokia PureBook X14 has support for Dolby Atmos, as well. This means that audio on the laptop should be better. Powering the laptop is a battery that can offer an eight hours life and uses 65W charging via the bundled charger.
