OnePLus launches 5T model with new Lava Red colour

OnePlus has planned to launch a new colour of its latest flagship device, The OnePlus 5T which is Lava Red. The company earlier planned to launch the new colour on January 23, but now the brand is planning to launch it on Thursday January 11, 2018.

OnePlus uncovered the limited Edition OnePlus 5T Lava Red colour in China during November last year. It is available with 8GB RAM variant with a price tag of Yuan 3499 which is approx. 35,000 rupees. We can assume that it can be available with the same memory configuration in India as well. Brand had introduced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition previously in India as well.

Some key specifications of the device are its 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is highly protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

As far as camera quality is concerned, front camera features a dual-camera setup at the rear panel with a combination of 16 megapixels sensor with aperture f/1.7, Sony IMX 398 sensor, 1.12 micron pixel size, dual LED flash and focal length of 27.22mm, while the secondary camera is 20 megapixels, Sony IMX376K sensor along with aperture f/1.7, 1.0 micron pixel size and focal length of 27.22mm.

In front camera you have a selfie camera of 16 megapixel with Sony IMX371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.0-micron pixel size. The OnePlus 5T supports the android version- Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on Oxygen OS. It also has a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge technology for fast charging.

This smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with Adreno 540 GPU. The OnePlus 5T will be launched with two configurations one is 6GB LPDDR4X RAM plus 64GB internal storage and the other is 8GB LPDDR4X RAM plus 128GB internal storage. It also has a new unlock feature which is Face Unlock feature through which you can unlock the device in 0.3 seconds. With the help of fingerprint sensor features you can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
