The OnePlus Chinese smartphone manufacturing brand has gained huge popularity in India and the rest of the world. Every year the company is coming up with new technologies with its flagship chains. Last year, the company explained how it ensures that every smartphone in the brand has fluid display technology, which in particular provides higher refresh rates of 90Hz and above. Meanwhile, the company plans to launch the OnePlus Nord N100 to expand its affordable portfolio.
As per Android Authority report, the OnePlus Nord N100 is going to be every low-budget of the brand launching with a 60 Hz display refresh rate. The report states that the information has been confirmed by an official representative of OnePlus. Apart from this, the report also states that the N100 is going to be a rebranded version of the Oppo A53 that comes with a 90Hz refresh rate screen.
Folks of the Android Authority have purchased a Nord N100 in the United Kingdom for review, but noticed that their retail unit has a 90% refresh rate option. The N100 is equipped with a 90Hz display. The actual refresh rate depends on the settings, applications used, and processing limitations,” OnePlus said.
Here the question arises as to why OnePlus claimed that the Nord N100 is a 60Hz standard display when there is an option to convert it to 90Hz. According to Android Authority theory, the OnePlus Nord N100 is a clear rebranded Oppo phone with a 90Hz refresh rate display. However, the OnePlus Nord N100 does not have strong specifications, which prevent high refresh rates from running smoothly in all apps.
OnePlus may have an idea about the issue and may choose to promote the phone as a fluid display device with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. However, the fact that the OnePlus Nord N100 comes with a 90Hz refresh rate display is set to 60Hz by default. All you have to do is turn on the refresh rate from the settings option.
