Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has launched OPPO Watch ECG Edition at its annual Developer Conference. The latest smartwatch comes with 46mm size and the same set of specifications as the OPPO Watch. The latest variant is available in stainless-steel options and sports features like a curved AMOLED screen, IPX8 certification, and more. In addition, the brand also revealed some information about its upcoming Smart TV, It confirmed that the OPPO Smart TV is going to be launched in the month of October in China.

OPPO Watch ECG Edition is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. INR 27.000) and will be available for purchase in China from September 28. The ECG Edition has added a bit more on to the standard OPPO Watch, which was launched in India at INR 14,990 for 41mm variant and INR 19,999 for 46mm option. There is no certain information about the OPPO Watch ECG Edition India in terms of pricing and availability.

The major high point of the smartwatch is the inclusion of an electrocardiogram (ECG) feature which will allow users to check the heart rhythm and more when they experience symptoms like a rapid or skipped heartbeat.
The smartwatch features a 1.91-inch curved AMOLED screen with a screen resolution of 402 x 476 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3500 processor along with Apollo 3 co-processor and backed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
The smartwatch has an IPX8 rating, which makes it water and dust resistant, and comes with a 430mAh battery that can deliver up to 40 hours of battery life and 21 days of usage on the Power Save mode. The OPPO Watch ECG Edition comes with fast charging, sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, menstrual monitoring, and sedentary reminders.
The smartwatch can also track different activities like walking, swimming, cycling, running, and more. The device comes with different sensors including a 3-axis accelerometer sensor, a gyroscope sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, a barometric pressure sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, an ECG sensor, and an ambient light sensor.
