The new smartphone in the K series is set to launch Oppo K7x on November 4, the Chinese company revealed on Thursday via a teaser posted on Weibo. The official teaser image also states that the new Oppo phone will come with 5G support. The Oppo K7x is likely to be similar to the Oppo K7 launched in August, which has quad rear cameras. Although its initial availability will be limited to China, at a later stage the phone may make its place in some global markets.

According to the teaser posted on Weibo, the Oppo K7x will launch on November 4 and will be available in China under Double XI Sale – a local shopping festival that takes place on November 11 and is known as Single Day.
Apart from the release date, the teaser of Oppo K7x hints at its design. The smartphone has a rectangular camera module at the back and no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The latter part suggests that it may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor or side-mounted. Also, there is a shield back finish.

In terms of understanding, the phone runs on Android 10 that is suggested by TENAA listing and functions as a full HD+ 6.5inch display. It was also found that under the hood is an octa-core SoC, paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
The 5G supported Oppo phone was also listed with three native storage variants – 64GB, 128GB & 256GB. Talking about its camera setup, the TENAA listing revealed that the phone featured a quad rear camera setup on top of the rectangular module, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors and it’s also 16MP camera at the front panel.
Oppo also offers a 4,910mAh battery in the new smartphone. However, it is unclear whether any fast charging support will be involved. Apart from this, the phone measures 162.2×75.1×9.1mm and weighs 194 grams.
