Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition was launched on Wednesday in India. According to a tipster, the device has been launched before the tentative timeline of launch. Actual launch was supposed to happen after two three days. Besides, unlike the rumour which said that the smartphone will launch as C15s, Realme is proceeding with the plain C15 Qualcomm Edition in order to show the difference it has from the previous version. Realme C15 was launched with a MediaTek chipset in August but this one bears a Snapdragon 460 SoC.
Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition is available in two variants with a price range of Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage respectively. You can avail Rs 500 discount on both the models during the festive offer. The sale will start from October 29 noon on Flipkart and mainline stores. The 3GB model will be available with a sale price of Rs 9,499 and the 4GB model will be available at Rs 10,499 sale price. Realme C15 will be available in two dashing colours – Power Blue and Power Silver.
Realme had previously indicated to launch the Qualcomm versions of its C-series phones but there were speculations over the slightly higher price of the regular MediaTek versions. It looks that the company is not leaving a big possibility there. The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition will be available with a price of Rs 9,999 which is the same as the smartphone’s MediaTek counterpart. It will be interesting to see if the Qualcomm Edition controls to operate the MediaTek version because of the rate.
The Realme C15 has a 6.5 inch 720p LCD with a notch on top. It comprises 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which works in together with the Snapdragon 460 processor. The smartphone contains a fingerprint sensor on the back. There is a 13 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2 megapixel black and white sensor and a retro sensor for photography. For selfies, it has an 8 megapixel camera residing inside the notch. The smartphone has a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and the rest of the specifications remain the same.
