Chinese tech giant Realme is going to launch its new smartphone Realme Q2 in India soon. However, Realme has not given any information about the launch date but a listing has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website indicating that Realme Q2 is going to launch in India. In China, The model has made its debut in October with Realme Q2 Pro and Realme Q2i. It was launched as Realme 7 5G in the UK. The Realme Q2 supports 5G connectivity and comes packed with a MediaTek Dimension 800U SoC.
The renowned tipster Mukul Sharma has recently tweeted that “Good news for those waiting. The Realme Q2 also appears to be coming soon to India, as it has now received the Indian BIS certification,” with an image that shows the BIS listing of a Realme device with model number RMX2117. He also said the listing of new Realme phone on the BIS certification website indicates the imminent launch of Realme Q2 in India. But unfortunately, the company has made no official announcement or shared any word regarding this.
Realme Q2 price in India (expected):
In India, the price of Handset is not revealed yet but it was launched in China at CNY 1,299 (about Rs. 14,600) for the 4GB + 128GB storage variant and CNY 1,399 (about Rs. 15,800) for the 6GB + 128GB storage model.
Realme Q2 specifications:
Realme Q2 has a 6.5-inch full-HD + (1,080 × 2,400 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Octa-core MediaTek Dimension 800U SoC that comes coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. It has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 48-megapixel axle primary sensor with f/1.8 lens. The setup comes with a 2-megapixel macro shooter and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter. Also, it has a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front with f/2.1 lens and has 128GB of storage which supports expansion via microSD card. The phone packs 30W fast charging with 5,000 mAh battery. It weighs 194 grams and measures 162.2 × 75.1 × 9.1 mm.
