Realme V15 aka Realme Koi is going to launch in China on January 7, 2021. The company has confirmed the news on its Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The smartphone is going to be launched at 2 PM at local time. It will come with some fancy cards to wish the buyer – after all, some fish is associated with good fortune, perseverance and abundance – the stuff we all want for the morning is the new calendar year.
The phone might be listed on Tmall, Suning and other major retailers, but we don’t have specs different from the 64MP main snapper. Since the phone will fall under the V line-up, it is most likely to be priced aggressively and the company CMO has already promised a new series for the actual flagship codename Realme Race.

In China, The handset is going to be launched through an event on January 7 at 2 PM local time (11:30 am IST). The company shared the development on Weibo, first seen by well-known tipster Mukul Sharma. As of now, availability and pricing for phones is not clear and so are the specifications.

As previously leaked, the phone has a back panel in gradient. To the right of the back panel is the ‘Dare to leap’ branding. On the display, the handset is coming with a hole-punch cut located on the top left corner of the screen and it seems to be relatively thick bezels all around the smartphone.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently leaked some specifications of Realme V15 on Twitter suggesting that the phone may come with MediaTek Dimension 800U mobile processor. It was expected that it will have a triple rear camera which is also seen in the official poster – headlined by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The smartphone weighs 176 grams and is tipped to support 50W fast charging. It may also have an in-display fingerprint scanner as the phone does not appear on the back or side in the official poster.
Realme introduced the V series with the launch of Realme V5 in August last year. Realme will be the third smartphone of the series after the V15, V3 and V5 5G smartphones. The handset is expected to come with features like 125 W Ultra Dart Fast Charging as per Weibo.
It is going to be the affordable mid-range 5G handset in the company’s portfolio and Realme is set to launch the Realme X7 range in India to diversify its 5G products.
