Samsung Galaxy S21 series all key specifications leaked

Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra specifications have been leaked along with their colour variants. All the three models are rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 SoC processors depending on the market. The new Galaxy S21 Ultra is rumoured to debut with one of the best smartphone displays and comes with an enhanced camera setup including a telephoto lens to support 10x optical zoom. The Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra are said to be codenamed as O1, T2, and P3 respectively as per the details posted by Android Police.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to launch in Phantom Violet, Phantom Grey, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink colour variants whereas the Galaxy S21+ is said to have Phantom Silver, Phantom Black and Phantom Violet colours options and the Galaxy S21 Ultra might be available in Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colour variants. The Galaxy S21 is said to have a plastic covering at the rear and the Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to have a glass back.

As per the report by Android Police, Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 and is expected to be powered by either Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 SoC processor. The Galaxy S21 is also expected to have a full HD+ LTPS display of 6.2 inch with refresh rate of 120Hz whereas the Galaxy S21+ might have a 6.7 inch full HD+ LTPS display with 120Hz refresh rate and in contrast, Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to have a 6.8 inch WQHD+ LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate which can go up to 120Hz.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra might give up to 1600 nits of peak brightness and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. These are said to be upgrades over the 1400 nits of peak brightness and 2000000:1 contrast ratio found on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are expected to have a triple rear camera setup which includes a 12 megapixel ultra-wide shooter, 12 megapixel primary sensor and a 64 megapixel telephoto shooter. On the other hand, Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to have a 108 megapixel primary sensor, 12 megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 10 megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and a 10 megapixel telephoto shooter along with 10x optical zoom.

Samsung is said to have 130 percent larger pixels on both 3x and 10x telephoto shooters which enables optical zoom on Galaxy S21 Ultra. The phone is also expected to revive the 100x Space Zoom which was featured on the Galaxy S20 Ultra earlier this year. A tipster who goes by the pseudonym Ice Universe posted via twitter that both telephoto shooters on the Galaxy S21 Ultra allow the strongest ever optical zoom system and camera of 1.22 micron pixels.

Android Police further reports that similar to the Google Pixel phones, the Galaxy S21 series has the ability to switch between 30fps and 60fps automatically depending upon the lighting conditions. The new models are said to have 4K/ 60fps video recording support and they might also offer a dual recording mode which will enable video recording through both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

As per the leak, both Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will have 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity features. The Galaxy S21 Ultra might take connectivity to even further with faster Wi-Fi 6E support. Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra are also said to have Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) support.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is said to have a 4000mAh battery capacity whereas the Galaxy S21+ is said to have a 4800mAh capacity and the Galaxy S21 Ultra might include a 5000mAh battery capacity. All the three models are also said to have 25W fast charging support. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to have S Pen support which validates the previous report. However, the phone might not come bundled with an S Pen and instead it may include optional cases which are said to have room for the S Pen which is unlike the Galaxy Note series that has built-in S Pen support.
