Snapdragon 875 specifications are out and the upcoming flagship chipset by Qualcomm have set a benchmark. The processor has left behind the predecessor by a sizable margin. The new Snapdragon 875 will power the Android flagships next year. It came out to be the first ever chip to set up on a 5nm process. You can expect many phones to be released with the upcoming Snapdragon 875 chip in late 2021. The new flagship Qualcomm is yet to be announced but a revelation is expected very soon.
Snapdragon 875 and Snapdragon 875 Plus both will use the 5nm process. Snapdragon 875 will have the new X60 5G modem-RF system and is 25 percent faster than the previous Snapdragon 865. The latest processor achieved a staggering 847,868 on Antutu benchmarks and when compared with the new iPhone 12 series with A14 Bionic chips which lost a long way and got 660,000. Whereas the top Kirin and Exynos chips achieved 696,000 and 693,000 respectively. When compared with Snapdragon 865, there is a huge difference between the upcoming chip and the previous generation Snapdragon chip.
Xiaomi launched the first Snapdragon 865 phones last year, the predecessor to the upcoming flagship Snapdragon 875. The upcoming flagship processor will power on a range of high-end devices which includes phones from Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo and Oppo. Xiaomi will launch Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro with Snapdragon 875 early next year but, this time Realme might launch it first may be by January 2021. As per the leaked Geekbench 5 results, Xiaomi Mi 11 is powered by the 5nm Snapdragon 875 and Mi 11 series launch might happen in February.

As per the new leak from Digital Chat Station via MyFixGuide has revealed some detailed specifications for the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. The new 5nm flagship chip is expected to incorporate eight cores with the main core clocked at 2.84GHz likely a Cortex-X1, three performance cores clocked at 2.42GHz Cortex-A78 and four energy saving cores clocked at 1.8GHz Cortex-A55. The core setup is the same as the current flagship Snapdragon 865 chip with efficiency boosts expected from the new 5nm process.
The graphics are expected to be updated to the new Adreno 660 GPU and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem while the cache is also expected to see an improvement upon last generation. Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 performance will provide a bigger performance boost than expected initially with early rumours showing it falling afoul of Samsung’s next Exynos 1000 chip. The Snapdragon 875 is beating its predecessor by over 25 percent in performance.

Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro
The next Mi flagships will happen in February 2021 and it will be among the first smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 875 SoC in the world. The Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 875 next year.
Redmi K40 Pro / Poco F3 Pro
The next generation Redmi K40 Pro will run on Snapdragon 875 which might launch in India as Poco F3 Pro or Poco X3 Pro in 2021. Redmi K40 Pro will come with 120Hz refresh rate display, multi camera setup, 12GB RAM, 5G connectivity and will be powered by Snapdragon 875.
Realme X4 Pro

The OnePlus smartphones coming next year will be powered by Snapdragon 875 which includes the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Both the phones will be powered by Snapdragon 875 and expected to launch globally in mid-2021 probably in April 2021.
