Vi or Vodafone Idea has recently hinted regarding the price hike in tariff by the end of this year in India. A couple of Vi postpaid plans have been revised by the telco quietly which seems that the telecom operator has already taken its first step in this direction. The revised plans are part of Vi postpaid family plan line-up.
Vi has a total four postpaid family plans which starts from Rs. 598, which is now revised, and going up to Rs. 1,348 for the RedX family plan. These family plans offer unique benefits which includes a minimum of one additional add-on connection, high-speed data, unlimited calls, free SMS and OTT memberships.
Vi postpaid Red Family plan line-up earlier started from Rs. 598 but after the hike of Rs. 50 price has been revised to Rs. 649. The next Vi postpaid plan was priced at Rs. 749 and with a Rs. 50 hike the revised price is Rs. 799. The other two plans continue to be available with the same price of Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,348.
The plan with revised price of Rs. 649 offers a free add-on connection with 80GB data benefit. It also gives unlimited voice calling to any network within India and 100 SMS per month. The 80GB data benefit is divided between two – the primary and add-on connections wherein the former gets 50GB data and the latter gets 30GB data. Moreover, the primary connection gets a 1 year subscription of Amazon Prime and ZEE5 Premium worth Rs. 999 each. The plan also offers an annual subscription to both primary and add-on connection for Vi Movies and TV.
The plan with revised price of Rs. 799 provides three connections which includes one primary and two add-on connections. The plan offers 120GB data and out of which the primary connection is entitled to get 60GB data and add-on connections gets 30GB data each. Users will get 1 year free subscription of Amazon Prime and Zee5 Premium for primary connection and 1 year free subscription of Vi movies and TV for both primary and secondary connections.
