Vivo X60 series launch date announced; official listing reveals specifications and images

Vivo has finally confirmed that it will launch its Vivo X60 series on December 29 in China. The company has informed the same on its official Weibo handle. The new series will include Vivo X60, X60 Pro and may also have X60 Pro + to launch during the launch event. As of now, the X60 and X60 Pro have been found listed on the company’s official website, which confirms the design and key specifications. The company is going to hold a launch event at 19:30 local time, which is 5:00 PM IST. The company has confirmed that it will launch the X60 and X60 Pro smartphones during the launch event. The brand revealed a teaser video of the upcoming Vivo X60 pro, which shows the design and image specification. The teaser video shows that the smartphone will come with a quad-camera setup on the back panel with a gradual finish, similar to the X50 Pro smartphone. The phone will come with Zeiss optics, which can enhance the imaging quality of the handset.

Vivo X60 series specifications

Both phones are currently listed on the company’s website. To begin with the X60, the handset will be available in two memory options: 128GB and 256GB storage options. The handset will come with 8GB of RAM. The handset will have 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage as soon as the X60 Pro arrives. The listing also suggests that the X60 will be available in three color options including Black, Shimmer and Gradient Blue. The Pro model will come in two color options including Black and Gradient Blue. The listing also shows that both phones will come with a 5nm processor, which is said to be Exynos 1080 SoC.

Both models will come with Zeiss optical lens with night vision 2.0 mode. Coming to render, both have a similar design language. The only difference is in the camera department. The X60 comes with a triple-camera setup, while the X60 Pro has a quad-camera setup. The front panel comes with a punch-hole cut out in the top-center position. Also, the right side button controls power on / off button. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
