Vodafone Idea receives highest call quality rating in November: TRAI

As per the latest data shared by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India i.e. TRAI, Vodafone Idea gets the highest call quality ratings by user for the month of November. The TRAI data indicates that Idea gained the top spot across the service providers when it comes to voice quality, with Vodafone not far behind. Vodafone Idea aka Vi has jointly performed better than Airtel, BSNL and Reliance Jio. The user data available on the TRAI website has been generated across all the network types including 2G, 3G and 4G.

The latest data by TRAI shared on its MyCall Dashboard which reveals that Vodafone and Idea have jointly performed better in terms of call quality in the month of November as compared with Airtel, BSNL and Reliance Jio. Idea topped the chart with a rating of 4.9 out of 5 followed by Vodafone with 4.6 ratings out of 5. BSNL was on third spot with a rating of 4.1 out of 5 whereas Airtel and Reliance Jio gained 3.8 rating each out of 5.

If we talk about overall performance, 88.4% users experienced satisfactory voice quality, 8.24% experienced poor voice quality and 3.62% experienced call drops. In terms of indoor call quality, Vodafone scored 4.6 rating whereas in outdoor call quality it scored 4.3. On the other hand, Idea received 4.9 ratings for indoor and 4.8 ratings for outdoor call quality. Indoor and Outdoor call rating for Airtel was 3.9 and 3.5, for BSNL was 3.9 and 4.3 and for Jio was 3.9 and 3.6 respectively.

BSNL had received the top spot in terms of voice quality in the month of October with a rating of 3.7 followed by Airtel with 3.5, Idea with 3.3, Jio with 3.2 and Vodafone at last with 3.1. If we see overall performance in October, 63.86% of users experienced satisfactory voice quality, 25.28% experienced poor voice quality and 10.85% users faced call drops.

For indoor and outdoor call quality in October, Vodafone received 3.2 and 2.6 whereas Idea received 3.4 and 3.1 ratings respectively. Vodafone Idea jointly have delivered outstandingly an enhanced call quality experience in the month of November.
