Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a toned-down version of its Mi Notebook laptop in China. Dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Notebook Youth Edition, the notebook is available with a price tag of RMB 4,599. It will cost approx. Rs.48, 900 and it will be available in two colours – Black and White.
The latest device from Xiaomi has a metal design which is 19.9mm slim. It features a full-HD display of 15.6 inch. It is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor coupled with MX110 discrete graphics. The latest device also has 2GB video memory.
The device will have 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage coupled with 1TB of HDD storage. Also, there is an independent digital keyboard. As far as sound is concerned, the company has deployed a 3W high-power speaker for an immersive multimedia experience. The Mi Notebook Youth Edition will have a dual fan cooling system with in built two fans a double air output which will help in heat management.
It will run on Windows 10 and as of now there is no information about the battery backup. If we talk about connectivity front, users will get one ethernet port, one HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports and 3.5mm audio jack. Apart from this, it will also have an in-built card reader.
Xiaomi has also rolled out MIUI 10 stable update for its Redmi Note 5 Pro users in India. New update will be around 580MB and users can check for the update by following these steps: Settings > About Phone > System Updates. The latest update has 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH version. It brings the September security patch for the Redmi Note 5 Pro which is coupled with new improvements and the UI changes. The update is being rolled out in a very phased manner hence, it might take some time to reach in all handsets.
