Xiaomi has announced the launch of the second-generation Mi Notebook Pro in China. The laptop will be available with a price tag of CNY 5599. It will be available for sale from June 1, 2018 in Mainland China. The Mi Notebook Pro will be available in Dark Grey colour option.
The device comes along with a magnesium alloy. Xiaomi has added Harman Infinity speakers along with Dolby Atmos for a pleasant sound experience. As compared to the design, the second generation Mi Notebook Pro resembles the Apple MacBook lineup.
The key specifications of Mi Notebook Pro will have a 15.6-inch Full HD display. Also, it will have 72 percent NTSC colour gamut along with 300 nits’ brightness and 170 degree viewing angle which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new device is powered with 8th generation Intel Core i5-8250U processor. The laptop features NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB DDR5 Video RAM for graphics.
The device will have an 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of PCIe SSD storage. It has a full size keyboard which is backlit in nature. Company has also claimed that the keyboard area is 19 percent larger than that of the Apple MacBook Pro. It also has a fingerprint sensor which is compatible with Windows Hello. As far as connectivity is concerned, the device will have two USB Type-C ports, HDMI port, one USB Type-A port, 3 in 1 SD card slot, WiFi 802.11 ac and 3.5mm headphone jack. The measurement of the device will be 360.7 x 243.6 x 15.9 mm and weight will be 1.95kg.
