Xiaomi has finally launched its first QLED panel TV, Mi QLED 4K TV in the Indian home entertainment market. The Android TV comes with a 55-inch Ultra-HD Dolby Vision display. The PatchWall-powered Mi QLED TV 4K is the brand’s most premium television series in the country so far. The new smart television has a UHD resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and is available only with a single size option with support for HDR up to the Dolby Vision format.
Mi QLED TV 4K Price in India:
The Mi QLED TV 4K is available for Rs. 54,999 and it is the most expensive 55-inch television currently on offer from Xiaomi in India. It is available only in single size of 55-inch option as of now which goes up against QLED TV options from brands including OnePlus and TCL which are available with similar price at around or under Rs. 60,000. It will be available for sale in India starting from December 21 at 12pm (noon) IST. It can be purchased via Mi.com, Mi Home store, Flipkart and other retail stores including Vijay Sales.
Mi QLED TV Specifications and Features:
It features a 55-inch Ultra-HD QLED display and a screen resolution of 3840×2160 pixels with support for various HDR formats like HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The new smart TV runs Android TV 10 and it is among the first television to run the latest version of Android TV. It does not run the Google TV launcher as on the Chromecast with Google TV instead of which it runs the stock Android TV launcher.
It is powered by MediaTek MT9611 quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM + 32GB of internal storage for apps and app data and sound output of 30W through a six-speaker system which consists of four full-range drivers and two tweeters. The TV also has inbuilt Chromecast and a quick wake function.
There are 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports on the smart TV with all three of the former being HDMI 2.1 with support for 60Hz refresh rate at up to 4K resolution and an assured input lag of 5ms which will be helpful in gaming. The Mi QLED TV 4K also supports Bluetooth 5 and HDMI eARC.
The Mi QLED TV 4K also runs the company’s PatchWall launcher with the latest version – PatchWall 3.5 – running on the television like other televisions by Xiaomi. The remote is the same like earlier Mi TV models with few buttons and hotkeys for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video which is also accessible to Google Assistant for voice commands.
