Xiaomi Mi 10i ‘Made in India’ phone launched in India: Price and specifications


Xiaomi Mi 10i price and sale date for India have been announced since the phone has launched officially in the country. As per confirmation by Xiaomi the new handset is a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which launched in China in November last year. Xiaomi Mi 10i is a ‘Made in India’ handset which has been designed for the Indian market. The new smartphone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AdaptiveSync display, a circular rear camera module and a quad-camera system which includes the new 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes. Its specifications also consists of a punch-hole display, a Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC and a 4820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Mi 10i Price, Sale Date:

Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G is available for Rs. 20,999 in India for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage variant, Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB of RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB of RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone is available in three colour options which are Pacific Sunrise, Atlantic Blue and Midnight Black. You can buy it via Amazon India and Mi.com. The new smartphone will be available for sale on January 7th for Amazon Prime users and for open sale starting from January 8th. As of now, the 6GB of RAM + 64GB base variant do not have a sale date.

Mi 10i Specifications:

Xiaomi Mi 10i features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AdaptiveSync display which proviides a 30Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate. It comes with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 450nits brightness, HDR10+, a centre-positioned punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light certification, reading and sunlight mode 3.0 and support for Widevine L1. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU and runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. The phone is available in three storage variants which are 6GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. 

The new handset has a quad camera set up at the back which includes a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor, 1/1.52″ sensor size, 9-in-1 binning, 2.1μm Super Pixel, f/1.75 aperture, and 7P lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, f/2.2 large aperture and two 2-megapixel lenses for macro and depth shots. The rear cameras of the phone also supports 6 long exposure modes, movie frame, HDR, document mode, ultra-wide-angle distortion correction, AI scene detection, AI beauty, night mode 2.0 Pro, portrait mode background blur adjustment and RAW mode. The cameras can capture 4K videos and dual video which includes selfie camera plus main camera and also it has support for pro video and vlog mode.

The phone also comes with a 16-megapixel snapper at the front with a 1.0μm pixel size and f/2.45 aperture which supports night mode 1.0, AI beauty mode, movie frame and panorama selfie. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. On the connectivity front, it includes 5G, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi and USB Type-C port. The phone is backed by a 4820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and promised to charge up to 68 percent in just 30 mins and up to 100 percent in just 58 minutes. On board features of the phone includes a 360-degree ambient light sensor, IR blaster dual stereo speakers with 3.5mm audio jack and dual (L1 and L5) band satellite navigation. Its dimensions measure 165.38 X 76.8 X 9 mm and weigh 214.5 grams.
