Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE has launched a new fitness-centric smartwatch, called the ZTE Watch Live in China. The new smartwatch comes packed with a colourful display. It is said to deliver a decent battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge. Also, ZTE Watch Live comes preloaded with 12 sports modes and has an IP68 certified set up which is dust proof and water proof. Moreover, ZTE has provided an all-day heart rate monitor feature via an inbuilt sensor. Apart from this, the new device also provides sleep tracking features and helps in evaluation of sleep quality with the help of machine learning algorithms.
ZTE Watch Live Price and Specifications:
ZTE Watch Live will be available at CNY 249 in China which is approx. Rs. 2,800. The new ZTE smartwatch is initially available for pre-bookings in China through ZTE Mall and available with a discounted price of CNY 229 which is approx. Rs. 2,600. It will start shipping from December 3 and as of now there is no official information regarding the availability of ZTE Watch Live in global markets.
The new device has a 1.3-inch TFT display. It comes with 240×240 pixels resolution and touch support. The smartwatch also consists of an optical sensor in order to track blood oxygen saturation and heart rate. Also, there are 12 sports modes for fitness enthusiasts which helps to track activities including cycling, skipping, running, walking and others. The new smartwatch has the capability to track sleep patterns and provide data on sleep quality.
ZTE has incorporated Bluetooth 4.2 to the new smartwatch so that it can offer wireless connectivity. You can pair the ZTE Watch Live smartwatch with a compatible phone so that you can receive real-time notifications on new messages and voice calls. It can also be used for other functions like music control and remote camera.
There are many other smartwatches which are meant for Android devices and ZTE Watch Live is also one of them and comes with a sedentary reminder which helps to alert users in getting up and moving around after a particular time interval.
The new watch comes with a user replaceable wristband with multiple colour options. ZTE has also claimed that the new smartwatch can last between 14 to 21 days on just a single charge. It also supports fast charging and is claimed to provide an all-day battery life with just five minutes of charging. There is no information regarding exact battery capacity and lastly it measures 40.6×34.6×10.8mm and weighs 35.7 grams.
